Pinebrook Park is owned by the City of Venice and maintained by Sarasota County. During the construction of the Pinebrook Development, the city allowed Herb Hanchey to store fill in the park. In exchange he made most of the improvements. Sitting on 15 acres, this park offers a fitness/nature trail that meanders through the pine flatwoods, pickleball, basketball and tennis courts, a disc golf course and picnicking.
