Prospect Wire to Host 5th Annual National Championship in Southwest Florida

Annual high school baseball tournament highlights regional standouts at MLB spring training sites, including CoolToday Park, Charlotte Sports Park, and Centennial Park

From July 19-23, Prospect Wire, a premier baseball event organizer founded to help high school athletes showcase their skills to college coaches and MLB scouts, will host its 5th Annual National Championship in Southwest Florida. In partnership with Visit Sarasota County, the event is expected to see its largest turnout, drawing more than 80 competing teams and over 30 college coaches and MLB recruiters. Spectators will have a rare opportunity to see rising national talent in action. 

Media are invited to attend and cover this multi-day tournament, held across the region’s prominent MLB spring training complexes and recreation facilities. Why: 

Prospect Wire was created to provide meaningful opportunities for the 98 percent of high school baseball player who may lack a clear path to college, MLB recruitment, or scholarships. Through its annual tournament, Prospect Wire aims to connect overlooked talent with recruiters.
