The Sarasota BMX track is the country's oldest continuously running BMX track. In 2016, the track was upgraded and now includes a 5-meter ramp, an 8-meter ramp and dual purpose amateur and supercross track. Sarasota has been a favorite spot for racers to return year after year. Sarasota BMX is ahead of the game when it comes to the youngest of racers - the Striders. It has a Strider-specific track that hosts races twice a month.
